Cynthia Geary stars in the new original series GOING HOME, streaming Pure Flix (the No. 1 indie faith/family studio).

Cynthia was born the youngest of four children in Jackson MS. She earned a BA of Arts degree in vocal performance and graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi. She attended summer school at UCLA and was discovered by a manager while waiting tables. While filming Northern Exposure she fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and remained there and started a family.

Her other credits include 8 SECONDS (with Luke Perry), Love Boat, Fantasy Island, and several theatrical productions and indie films. She is open to a Northern Exposure reboot.

At the height of her career Cynthia shifted her focus from acting to raising her two daughters. She continued to act in local theater and indie projects.

Through her corporate job she has helped house many people who have fled the Ukraine.

To prepare for her latest role as a hospice nurse, Cynthia visited Spokane Hospice and experienced the calming, peaceful and beautiful environment of families helping their loved ones transition from this life to the next.
