The Inheritance – Wisdom Unplugged


Thank you for joining us for our five days per week, wisdom and legacy building podcast. This is day 932 of our trek and time for a 3-minute mini-trek called Humor Unplugged.  Our Thursday podcast will provide a short and clean funny story to help you lighten up and live a rich and satisfying life.  Something to cheer you and provide a bit a levity in your life.  We are told in  Proverbs 15:30  A cheerful look brings joy to the heart; good news makes for good health.  We are also encouraged in Proverbs 17:22  A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.  Consider this your vitamin supplement of cheer for today.  So let’s jump right in with today’s funny which is titled:
The Inheritance
Ms. Jones, the 6th-grade teacher, posed the following problem to one of her arithmetic classes: "A wealthy man dies and leaves ten million dollars. One-fifth is to go to his wife, one-fifth is to go to his son, one-sixth to his butler, and the rest to charity. Now, what does each get?"

After a very long silence in the classroom, little Dewey raised his hand. The teacher called on Dewey for his answer.

Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan
