Reiki has played a huge role in my sense of self-worth and my overall well-being. Yet it’s been one of my best-kept secrets. Not any more! Today I’m discussing everything you need to know to tap into this healing energy you didn’t know you needed in your life. What is Reiki? How does it work? Can it be done remotely or only in person? And what are my clients saying about working with me as a Karuna Reiki Master?

Mrs. Takata, a trailblazer in the Reiki community, once said, “I want Reiki to be as common as aspirin.” And that’s my mission as well. I have a deep desire to introduce this tool to as many people as possible. I also want to expand the number of practitioners by offering more classes. That's why starting in October I'll be teaching monthly Reiki I/II classes for the remainder of 2021 so that my students can learn how to use this healing energy for themselves in less than 48 hours.

For those who may think this is too woo-woo or not for them, I encourage you to shift your mindset. There are plenty of studies on the power of Reiki. It's also widely used in major hospitals like the Mayo Clinic, Stanford Medical Center, John-Hopkins Medicine, and many more well-known medical centers. Yet, sadly it's still this amazing healing secret that many in the Black and brown community have never heard of until today. Let's continue to spread the word and the healing in our community!
