show moreThe Honchos ended the month of March with a jam-packed showgram tonight. The Honchos opened the show by comparing MRI stories, recapping the tale of the Ever Given being stuck in the Suez Canal, and telling the tale of another Burger King PR nightmare.
The seal was broken on sports with a recap of the NCAA men's tournament and a look at the Final Four, a follow-up on last week's story of the discrepancy in treatment between the men's and women's tournaments. and a discussion of comments made by Baylor women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey after her team was eliminated from the tournament.
With opening day less than 24 hours away, the NHL/NBA/MLB segment was dominated by MLB talk. The Honchos made their playoff predictions, discussed the Francisco Lindor contract talks with the Mets, and tried to determine who is truly punished if the All-Star game is moved out of Atlanta as a form of political protest.
There was a brief NFL Recap focused on the NFL moving to 17 games. the plan for full attendance at NFL stadiums this season, and, of course, an update on the ever-evolving Deshaun Watson lawsuit story.
After a spirited discussion about the removal of WWE and SpongeBob Squarepants content deemed inappropriate and insensitive, the Honchos ended the showgram with the Dope of the Week. This week's winner? Chris Grier, GM of the Miami Dolphins.
