Momentum is the key to mountain moving consistency in the spirit realm as well as in the physical room.

If you stood flat-footed and then jumped forward, and marked The distance from where you started and you landed; then went back and got a running start and leapt.
You would notice a Big change in how far you traveled with a running start. You achieved even a MUCH further distance by getting a running start.

Why?

One word MOMENTUM!

When you want to hit a baseball, you don't start at a dead stop. You load up you move move your hands backwards to move the bat forward.

The same is true when you're cutting a tree with an ax. You move the axe backwards then you bring it forward with great momentum.

Momentum is defined in physics as the quality of motion of a moving body, measured as a product of its mass and velocity.

Without momentum, you can't jump further, you can't hit the ball further and you can't swing an axe faster.

But what is true of momentum in the physical realm, is also true of momentum in the spiritual realm.

You may ask how do you translate physical momentum into spiritual momentum? It's quite easy.

In order to build physical momentum you need to build a continuous consistent motion. For example, if you try to swinging at a baseball with your hands being at a dead stop, you can't generate enough momentum to catch up with the ball and hit it.

If on the other hand you start your hand movement backwards, then you stop then start the movement backwards again; when you come forward you still miss the ball. Because there wasn't a continuous consistent momentum toward the ball.

The same is true in the spiritual realm with spiritual momentum. If you're not consistent in your walk with God, if you go back and forth, if you start and stop, then start again, then you have no continuous consistent motion Seeking after God in the spirit.

So just like a baseball player missing the baseball because he has no continuous consistent momentum and coming back with his hands and then coming forth with his hands as the pitcher released. So too, you may have not have enough spiritual momentum to accomplish what you have been called to do, to bless others or to see breakthroughs that you are meant to see.

So the secret of spiritual momentum is to make it your aim to be consistent in season and out. That means have your prayer time every day, read your Bible every day, pray for others every day, encourage others every day, praise God every day, and thank God for all He has done for you every day... starting with your giving you a new day.

Then you will see an issue increase in spiritual momentum. It will take you further and bring you higher than you ever thought possible. Simply by being continuously consistent with God.

Then you'll see the doors you're knocking on, open! The walls that you are coming against, fall down! And the life that you live will change from inconsistent results to consistent continuous results in your prayer life, your victory, your power and your breakthroughs, because you are continuously consistently talking with God.

Today make it your aim to increase your spiritual momentum, stay focused on God; not the world around you.

Come to Him, who has the Power to change things. Then watch the miracles manifest right before your eyes. Simply because you continuously consistently went before the Father in an intimate relationship with Him and He moved the mountains before you by His Power.
