Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. (Ephesians‬ ‭6:18‬)

In military science, covering fire is "fire that degrades the performance of an enemy force below the level needed to fulfill its mission".

Holy Cover Fire is the application of Intercessory prayer fire, coordinated with the maneuver of the heavenly forces, to destroy, neutralize or suppress the enemy. It is prayer fire delivered to render the enemy target ineffective or unusable against the saints. Holy Spirit covering fir the saints and Holy Spirit Filled firey darts!

A Covering is what covers you like clothes on the body. it is close and protective. A Mantle of the Holy Spirit applied to those prayed for against the forces of darkness.

it means to to throw around, put on, array, cast about, clothe another or yourself.

For the LORD put on righteousness as a breastplate or coat of mail, and salvation as a helmet upon His head; He put on garments of vengeance for clothing and was clad with zeal and furious divine jealousy as a cloak. [Eph. 6:14, 17; I Thess. 5:8.] Isaiah ‭59:17‬

11. Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

12. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood contending only with physical opponents, but against the despotisms, against the powers, against the master spirits who are the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

13. Therefore put on God's complete armor- put on Christ. You were baptized into Christ into a spiritual union and communion with Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah have put on armored yourself with Christ. (Galatians ‭3:27‬)

that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day of danger, and, having done all the
crisis demands, you stand firmly in your place IN Christ.

14. Stand therefore hold your ground, having tightened the belt of truth around your loins
Jesus is the truth, John ‭14:6‬

and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, right standing with God,
Jesus Himself who you have Put On is your Righteousness. 2 Corinthinains 5:21
Christ is the righteousness which is from God by faith. (Philippians ‭3:9‬)

15. And having shod your feet in preparation to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news of the Gospel of peace. [Isa. 52:7.]
Christ Himself is our Peace. (Ephesians 2:14)

16. Lift up over all the covering shield of faith, God’s Divine Persuasion, what The LORD continously births IN you, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked one.

17. And put on the helmet of salvation, the covering of Salvation IN Christ and through Him and no one else but Christ, (Acts ‭4:12) ‬

and take up the sword that the Spirit wields, which is The Word of God.
Jesus is the Word of God, (John 1:1,14)
He is dressed in a robe dyed by dipping in blood, and the title by which He is called is The Word of God.

18. Pray at all times on every occasion, in every season in the Spirit, with all manner of prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints God's consecrated people.

Pray depending on The Holy Spirit, Who
26. comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.

27. And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the Holy Spirit what His intent is, because the Spirit intercedes and pleads before God in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's will. (Ps. 139:1-2)

28. We are assured and know that God being a partner in our labor all things work together and are fitting into a plan for good to and for those who love God and are called according to His design and purpose. (‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:26-28)‬‬

Further, Christ Jesus Who God – more than that, Who was raised Life – Who is at the Right Hand of God is also Interceding for you, even even before you pray. (Romans 8:34)

For God Knows the Things You Have Need of Even before You Ask Him, with this for yourself or for others which He he stirs you to pray. (Matthew 6:8).

Jesus himself can intercede for you and through you, because he knows you and understands you. He himself shared in flesh and blood, and the physical nature of man, he himself partook of a similar nature as you have, that by going through death he might bring to nought (nothing) and make of no effect him who had the power of death–that is, the devil– And also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the haunting fear of death which holds in bondage people's lives without Christ. (Hebrews 2:14-15)

The Holy Spirit Comes to your aid and support and Lifts your Prayers to the Father where Jesus is Seated at the Father's Own Right Hand Interceding for you before the Father.
