Society's new trend is to teach people(men) that being vulnerable is strong. My angst with this train of thought is being vulnerable is never strong. The very definition means weakness....

Society's new trend is to teach people(men) that being vulnerable is strong. My angst with this train of thought is being vulnerable is never strong. The very definition means weakness.
I understand the reasoning behind the idea. However, airing you weakness, your past, your pains, without the intention of fixing them is not strong. If anything it leaves a person more susceptible. Dont be vulnerable, be courageous.
Have the courage to identify areas in your life that need improving. Have the courage to not only address them but to follow through with a plan of action. In order to become a better man , you must practice better living.
Life is not about addressing your weakness. Life is marshaling the power to transition from weakness to strength. HOW ARE YOU BEING COURAGEOUS
