Using the analogy of pearls, Kathleen draws a picture of the chaos in our lives as irritating grains of sand that through time can actually be transformed into pearls, those pearls are our triumph over the trials and the chaos that become necklace or reminder of the beauty that has come from our struggles. The clarity is the result of pressing through the chaos so it can be transformed into something beautiful and useful in our lives.
