That traumatic event led her on her own personal journey to find a treatment to turn her husband’s prognosis and new health challenges around. Through a series of introductions and even her own research, Julia met experts who became her husband’s help and champions helping him to far exceed his original prognosis by 12 years. This experience inspired her to write 2 books around the research, treatments and experts behind them in hopes of helping empower others who are facing a cancer diagnosis or autoimmune disease to become informed about all of their treatment choices.
