The death of Don moved us all... but HOW he died rocked the African American community. Suicide, at one time, was NOT named among black people.. and especially a person as old as he was. Don was suffering with Dementia or Alzheimer's disease and his health had been on a decline, some say THIS was the cause of him taking his own life. Lately The Sir Walter Jones Show been doing a series of Mental Illness shows around people in Entertainment.. from Donny Hathaway to Nina Simone, but today will take many of us Generation X'ers back to a fun time of our youth.
