On our second special episode from Cannes Lions live from the French Riviera we ask if Cannes is still lacking in diversity even though the panels have become more well rounded. And the advertising tax. While the discussions at Cannes are more around wealthy inequality and inequity the advertising model is still biased toward taxing those who cannot afford to escape or block it. Is this a catch 22? While many might think quick service restaurants do simple offer-based marketing and advertising. But the vertical is taking the most chances with customer service and customer experience informed by data. We speak with Work In Progress' Matthew Talbot about what to watch in this competitive space and how other verticals can learn from it.
