The U.S. Federal Reserve will be announcing an interest rate hike tomorrow. This follows after a series of interest rate hikes of 75 basis points were announced over the course of the year. However, tomorrow’s interest rate hike is expected to be lower than those that came before it. The reason the market is expecting a lower interest rate hike is because the U.S. Federal Reserve Chair announced earlier this year that interest rate hikes will be lowered in December.
