Salmos 36:1‭-‬12 RVA2015:
La transgresión habla al impío dentro de su corazón; no hay temor de Dios delante de sus ojos. Por eso se lisonjea en sus propios ojos hasta que su iniquidad sea aborrecimiento. Las palabras de su boca son maldad y engaño; ha dejado de ser sensato y de hacer el bien. Sobre su cama piensa iniquidad; está en un camino que no es bueno y no desprecia el mal.
Oh SEÑOR, hasta los cielos alcanza tu misericordia; y hasta las nubes, tu fidelidad. Tu justicia es como las montañas de Dios; y tus juicios, como el gran océano. Oh SEÑOR, que conservas al hombre y al animal, ¡cuán preciosa es, oh Dios, tu bondad! Por eso los hijos del hombre se refugian bajo la sombra de tus alas. Se sacian de la abundancia de tu casa; les das a beber del torrente de tus delicias. Ciertamente contigo está el manantial de la vida; en tu luz veremos la luz. Extiende tu bondad a los que te conocen, y tu justicia a los rectos de corazón. Que no venga contra mí el pie de la soberbia ni me desplace la mano de los impíos. Entonces caerán los que obran iniquidad; serán derribados y no podrán levantarse.


Este salmo tiene tres partes. Primero, describe la condición del impío. Es una persona que se ha apartado de la cordura, del sentido común, que ha abierto la puerta de su corazón para escuchar la voz de la maldad; es una persona que de día y de noche está planeando hacer el mal sin tener en cuenta que a Dios le desagrada ese estilo de vida y que va en contra de los mandamientos de Dios.
Segundo, después que el salmista corta abruptamente esta descripción negativa del malo, inmediatamente comenzó a alabar a Dios por todas sus bondades. Elevó su voz para exaltar a Dios porque es un Dios fiel; él comparó la justicia y los juicios de Dios con la inmensidad de los océanos y la majestuosidad de las montañas.
David reconoció que las personas que se acercan a Dios disfrutan de muchas cosas. Encuentran seguridad en la presencia de Dios, sus necesidades son satisfechas por Dios, sus almas son saciadas de bendiciones que continuamente fluyen en abundancia.
También David dijo una frase muy linda: "en tu luz veremos la luz". Queriendo decir que la verdad y el camino que debemos seguir, lo vamos a encontrar cuando entremos en la inmensurable gloria de Dios. Inmensurable significa que no tiene medida.
Notemos como David nos enseña que en Dios encontramos el manantial de vida. Esta frase es muy importante, especialmente ahora en tiempos donde las personas han perdido su sentido de vivir; donde sus almas desfallecen y quisieran encontrar esa fuente que los reviva. No la van a encontrar en ningún otro lugar, sino en Dios.
Guía a tu familia por ese Rayo de Luz. No dejes que tu familia se confunda por las diferentes sombras de oscuridad que quieren opacar la verdad y quieren traer miedos y temores a los miembros de tu familia.
Afirmemos hoy en nuestros corazones que Dios es el que va a poder ayudarnos a aclarar cualquier duda que tengamos en nuestras vidas porque Él es el Padre de las luces como Santiago lo enseñó en Santiago 1:16-17: “Mis amados hermanos, no se engañen: Toda buena dádiva y todo don perfecto proviene de lo alto y desciende del Padre de las luces en quien no hay cambio ni sombra de variación.”

Tercero, el salmista termina suplicando al Señor que no permita que los impíos lo derroten. De esa forma, siempre la verdad y el bien reinará sobre los mismos impíos.

Considera:
¿Has pasado por momentos donde la oscuridad no te deja ver las bendiciones que Dios ha preparado para darte?
¿Has tenido momentos donde Dios ha iluminado tu mente y has comprendido el propósito de alguna prueba que estés viviendo?

October 21: Approach the True Light in Times of Darkness.

Psalm 36:1-12:
An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked: There is no fear of God before his eyes.
For he flatters himself in his own eyes, when he finds out his iniquity and when he hates. The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; he has ceased to be wise and to do good. He devises wickedness on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not abhor evil.
Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep; O Lord, You preserve man and beast.nHow precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.
Oh, continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You, and Your righteousness to the upright in heart. Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked drive me away. There the workers of iniquity have fallen; they have been cast down and are not able to rise.


This psalm has three parts. First, it describes the condition of the wicked. They are people who have turned away from sanity, from common sense, who have opened the door of their heart to listen to the voice of evil; they are people who, day and night, is planning to do evil without taking into account that God does not like that lifestyle and that it goes against God's commandments.
Second, after the psalmist abruptly cut off this negative description of the bad guy, he immediately began to praise God for all His goodness. He raised his voice to exalt God because He is a faithful God; he compared the justice and judgments of God with the vastness of the oceans and the majesty of the mountains.
David recognized that people who come to God enjoy many things. They find security in the presence of God, their needs are met by God, their souls are filled with blessings that continually flow in abundance.
David also said a very nice phrase: "in Your light we will see the light." Meaning that the truth and the path that we must follow, we will find it when we enter the immeasurable glory of God. Immeasurable means that it has no measure.
Notice how David teaches us that in God we find the fountain of life. This phrase is very important, especially now in times where people have lost their sense of living; where their souls faint and they would like to find that source that revives them. You will not find it anywhere else but in God.
Guide your family through that Ray of Light. Don't let your family be confused by the different shades of darkness that want to overshadow the truth and want to bring fear to your family members.
Let us affirm today in our hearts that God is the One who will be able to help us clarify any doubts we have in our lives because He is the Father of lights as James taught in James 1:16-17: “My beloved brothers, do not be deceived: Every good gift and every perfect gift comes from on high and descends from the Father of lights in whom there is no change or shadow of variation."

Third, the psalmist ends by pleading with the Lord not to allow the wicked to defeat him. In this way, truth and good will always reign over the wicked themselves.

Consider this:
Have you been through times where the darkness does not let you see the blessings that God has prepared to give you?
Have you had moments where God has illuminated your mind and you have understood the purpose of some test that you are living?
