I think it was the cold that woke me up. That’s the first thing I remember anyway. Freezing cold. Way-below-zero crippling cold. I was shivering and chopping my teeth uncontrollably, the sleeping bag barely warm enough to keep me from going in to hypothermia. What the heck was going on?..What happened next i can only describe as another world, with sinister inhabitants! We were no longer in the living room!
