Breaker, breaker. We continue Begleyuary with another film about a subculture that doesn't get nearly enough cinematic love: Jonathan Demme's Citizens Band. Paul Le Mat, Candy Clark, Bruce McGill and Charles Napier lead an ensemble cast of characters who live and breathe CB radio in their small Nebraska town, with Ed Begley Jr. along for the ride. Imagine Cockfighter, but with radios instead of chickens, and you've kind of got the idea. We dig into Demme's films and Bruce McGill.
Wake Up Heavy's Mark Begley, The Projection Booth's Mike White, and Pulp Serenade's Cullen Gallagher join Chris Stachiw, the Doctor of Podcasting, to talk Jonathan Demme, Bruce McGill, CB radio, and so much more.
