Ieri mi sono comprata la rivista Wired. È una cosa importante da dire, perché anzitutto l'ho trovata alla quarta edicola, poi vabbè, è un piacere immenso avere tra le mani una rivista cartacea, ma procediamo con ordine. Eh sì perché qui nella deliziosa città dei fenicotteri rosa non è che tu possa andare così nella prima edicola che trovi e chiedere vorrei questo e quest'altro, ne ne sono resa conto quando ho cercato inutilmente di acquistare quella rivista dove si parla di libri Review of Books del New Yorker: l'ho cercata in lungo e in largo, è una rivista in inglese e quindi mi rendo conto che non tutte le edicole la abbiano, però ho provato a ordinarla nelle edicole, ho addirittura parlato con un mio amico che di mestiere fa quello che fa arrivare i giornali in Sardegna, e mi ha assicurato che nessuno in Sardegna la riceve, punto, e che non c'è possibilità di riceverla, l'unica possibilità che avrei avuto di riceverla è fare un abbonamento che oltre a costare cifre incredibili, poi difficilmente l'avrei trovato nella cassetta perché c'è anche il fatto che ti rubano le cose, soprattutto se sono cose difficili da trovare quando il postino mette giù Vabbè. Ieri, dopo un giro di diverse edicole ho finalmente trovato Wired, Wired che è una rivista che mi piace moltissimo, la compravo da sempre, dal primo numero, anzi mi dispiace non aver tenuto quel primo numero, però vabbè, capite bene che con tutti i traslochi intercontinentali che ho fatto bisogna fare delle scelte nella vita, e a volte queste scelte sono anche scelte dolorose tipo. Cosa posso spendere soldi per spedire dall'altra parte del mondo. La prima rivista di Wired evidentemente non rientrava in quell'ordine. No, è un piacere immenso che provo nel prendere una rivista, soprattutto in giornate in cui sono più libera da impegni, e leggermela tutta da copertina a copertina. Mi piace tantissimo la veste grafica, mi piace moltissimo questo numero, tra l'altro si parla di internet, di notizie fasulle, di come non basta avere i dati veri per far capire alla gente che quella è la verità, ci sono altri meccanismi che entrano in gioco. Incredibilmente interessante, bellissima la veste grafica, ci sono poi dei racconti, delle piccole novelle. Mi piace tantissimo e ho trascorso una bellissima giornata ieri, non ho finito tutta la rivista, oggi mi dedicherò alla lettura ancora di qualcosa, se trovo un angolo fresco in casa, non mi piace usare condizionata quindi preferisco creare correnti d'aria e aspettare che poi SBANG! le porte e le finestre sbattono e succeda un patatrac. Comunque ve lo consiglio: Wired in edicola, se lo trovate. Buona lettura.

Yes, because here in the delightful city of pink flamingos it's not like, you can go to the first newsagent and ask, I would like this and that, I realized it when I tried in vain to buy The New Yorker Books Review, I looked for it everywhere, I know, it is an English magazine and therefore I realise that not all newsagents carry it, but I tried to order it with newsagents, I even spoke to a friend of mine whose job is getting newspapers to Sardinia, and he assured me that no one in Sardinia receives it, period, and that there is no possibility of receiving it, the only possibility that I would have had to receive it is to make a subscription that beside costing an arm and a leg, then good luck with finding it in the letterbox because there is also the fact that things get stolen, especially if they are hard to find, when they are delivered by post. Oh well. Yesterday, after a tour of several newsagents I finally found Wired, Wired which is a magazine that I like very much, I had been buying it since the beginning, from the first issue, indeed I'm sorry not to have kept that first issue, but oh well, you understand that with all the intercontinental moves that I made, you have to take tough decisions in life, and sometimes these are painful choices like, what can I afford spending money to ship to the other side of the world? Wired's first issue evidently didn't fit that order. No, it is an immense pleasure I feel in picking up a magazine, especially on days when I am freer from commitments, and read it all from cover to cover. I really like the graphics, I really like it. This issue, by the way, is about about the internet, about fake news, about how it is not enough to have real data to make people understand what is the truth, there are other mechanisms that come into play. Incredibly interesting, beautiful graphics, then there are short stories. I love it and I spent a beautiful day yesterday, I haven't finished the whole magazine, today I will dedicate myself to reading something more, if I find a cool corner in the house, I don't like using air conditioning so I prefer to create drafts and wait for it then SBANG! doors and windows slam and a disaster happens.
