...That you never even met. Makes so much sense.

Best analogy I have ever heard is this: imagine if you just showed up one night at a rich man’s house and knocked on the door and said you want to come in. This man in his beautiful mansion says, who are you? And you say, I’m here because I’ve been a good person, I’ve never killed anyone, never lied or stole. I’m a righteous guy. But this man in his house has never even met you. He will send you away. This shows us why they will send themselves to hell. For the Master never knew you. He doesn’t have a relationship with you. So why is being a good person supposed to allow you into the Father’s house? Why would you want someone at your wedding (the wedding feast, of the lamb of God and the bride of Christ). Selah.

Compassion is all it takes for you to show God your heart is in the right place, however it has to come from the heart not as a lever to tip things in your favor.

He spoke in parables so the people could understand. There’s ONE WAY, and if you turn from that while you’re living here, as Jesus knocks on the hearts of all men.

That’s a parable Doc, but is describing the lake of fire.

All God wants from us, is to recognize we need Him because we can do nothing acceptable apart from Him.

Cuz I’m a loser, good for nothing, without Christ.

You’re right on that Doc, we are all here with the allowance of time God gives us. Praise His name! I help the poor that I see, not to toot my horn, but because God has given me His heart for them.
