As a result of the global pandemic as well as claims which have been considered by the Court, 2020 was a year in which the relationship between insolvency and the construction industry developed. The number of supply chain insolvencies is expected to continue to rise and so the availability of adjudication to insolvent parties has become all the more relevant. Companies are also limited in the action they can take against their debtors by new rules introduced by the Government in light of the pandemic.
