Elise Hicks is a native of Southern California who grew up in what seemed like a fairly normal suburban neighborhood in Pasadena. Her father's diagnosis of lymphoma became the "White Rabbit" triggering event for her awakening at the early age of twelve. The journey of healing involved many various modalities, from chemo to psychic healing. Many nights were spent talking with her dad, about life, life beyond life, how the universe works, etc. He was her first mentor, and fortunately the six months that he was originally given by his doctor expanded to nine more years. For her eighteenth birthday, his gift for her was an astrological chart and reading—this opened the door to one of her first passions!

Now, many years later, Elise has many career labels: namely, she is an astrologer, a real estate professional, and an author. She and her husband, William, met through a transformational workshop environment, and during much personal growth together they were inspired to write Wings: The Journey Home, a fun and inspiring tale for all ages, and an accompanying thought-provoking workbook. Elise and William are both students of history, psychology, self-empowerment, metaphysics, and quantum physics. 'Wings' is their first published book, but they have also written a couple of eBooks together, and have several others in the planning stages. Elise's intention is to teach what she has learned through her writing, astrology counseling, and public speaking.
