Lisane Basquiat is the founder of Shaping Freedom, a personal growth company that trains individuals on how to gain empowerment through internal congruence and spiritual alignment; resulting in healthier familial dynamics and legacy. She also owns Hera Hub Carlsbad, a female-focused and gender inclusive community, co-working space, and business accelerator.

Lisane Basquiat™ is an advocate for supporting human beings in remembering who they are, why they are here, and discovering what they can accomplish externally when they commit to a healthy relationship with themselves.

In 2008, she made the transition from corporate executive to building her own contribution through entrepreneurship. Today, she is the founder and CEO of Shaping Freedom®, a personal growth company that trains individuals on how to gain empowerment through internal congruence and spiritual alignment with the goal of healthier and stronger familial dynamics and legacy. Shaping Freedom® is also the parent to Shaping Sanctuary™ and Hera Hub Carlsbad. Shaping Sanctuary™ a brand aimed at providing products for the home and office/creative space. It launches in Fall 2020. Hera Hub Carlsbad is a female focused and gender inclusive community, co-working space, and business accelerator. Both are wholly owned subsidiaries. Lisane is the co-administrator (along with her sister) of the Jean-Michel Basquiat Estate, the role of which is to honor their brother by maintaining and caring for his legacy and to make his art more accessible to global audiences.

No matter the endeavor, Lisane curates and holds space that integrates personal and professional leadership, spirituality, and personal connection.

Prior to 2008, Lisane was a corporate executive who mastered valuable business skills in business transformation, organizational change management and project leadership. In addition, Lisane is Board Certified by the Association of Integrative Psychology as a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), a Master Practitioner of Mental and Emotional Release® (MER) Therapy, and Hypnotherapy. She is also a Certified Professional Coach (iPEC graduate), an Accredited Energy Leadership Coach, a Reiki practitioner, a Certified Advanced Theta Healer, and an ordained Minister.

Lisane is originally from Brooklyn, NY. She has been bi-coastal, living in both San Diego, CA and New Jersey since 2012.
