David Winters is a retired attorney-at-law with a broad international, professional, and academic background. He has been admitted before the US Patent Bar, the Tennessee Bar, and the United States Supreme Court. He specialized in patent, trademark, and copyright applications, plus intellectual property management. He was previously a ship’s officer, farmer, aviator, Cold War code master, International consultant in Europe and Asia and a 1976 graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He is also the author of numerous articles and books, and one book in particular that we’re here to talk about today, The Pirate’s Guide to Patents, Trademarks, and Copyrights.
