The Football Parents' Association at Ohio State has a protest planned outside the Horseshoe for Saturday at 11 am to try to continue to pressure the Big Ten into providing answers on its decision to cancel the fall 2020 football season.
The parents' group at Nebraska is taking a different approach. Their attorney sent a letter demanding the conference turn over any materials related to the decision to scrap the fall season, including how individual members voted, and documents outlining exactly how those decisions are supposed to get made.
Buckeye Scoop's Ross Fulton is a practicing attorney, in addition to being our Xs & Os guy. He joins host Tom Orr to break down the letter, as well as the follow-up sent this week, to figure out whether this legal maneuvering could pay dividends.
Then, the conversation shifts to the practice field, where the Buckeyes will have to install a new defense, and possibly break in a new starting quarterback, before they play their next game. What does that process look like on the field? And how far behind could Ohio State's offense be if Justin Fields departs for the NFL?
