Perry Eliano was hired this week to be Ohio State's new safeties coach as the Buckeyes completely overhaul their defensive coaching staff following a shaky 2021 season.

He helped coach Cincinnati defensive backs Sauce Gardner and Coby Bryant from unheralded recruits to a Thorpe Award winner and possible NFL first-round draft pick, and now he's headed to Columbus.
