Two major Bryan school district projects in the works for years are now reality.

Communications director Matt LeBlanc says 102 students have started at the district's new career and technical education center. Thanks to bond money and gifts, the center has the equipment it needs right now.

And the start of all day pre-kindergarten has 775 students at all Bryan ISD elementary campuses. Last year, BISD had 570 four year olds taking half-day pre-K.
