Two years after the Brazos Central Appraisal District (BCAD) received the green light from its members, the move in has been scheduled to its own office building.

Chief appraiser Mark Price says BCAD will be closed Monday and Tuesday (December 17 and 18) to allow for the transition from leased space on Briarcrest, and will open Wednesday (December 19) in their new $3 million dollar building behind the Brazos County tax office on Pendleton.

Price says the contractor has stayed within the project's budget and stayed the best they could on the timetable given all the rain there has been during construction.

An open house will be held at a date and time to be determined.
