Deputy Bryan city manager Hugh Walker visits with WTAW's Bill Oliver before the city council unanimously voted to take temporary control of the privately owned Grandview Cemetery, which has had no official ownership since 1972. A new non-profit organization is working on being legally recognized. During the interim, the city will be able to clean up and maintain the long neglected property where more than 1,000 African Americans are buried.
