Brazos County judge Duane Peters visits with WTAW's Bill Oliver about the completion of the Brazos County courthouse renovation after nine years and $20.6 million dollars.
A ribbon cutting and open house have been announced for later this month.
County judge Duane Peters says the only hiccup during the five phase renovation is the surprise that led to installing exterior glass.
The judge says even with the unplanned $1 million dollar expense, the county still saved $10 million by renovating over the cost of a new building.
The ribbon cutting and open house is on July 18th from 4 until 6 p.m.
