500 teacher grants have been awarded since 1999, totaling $1.3 million dollars.
In 17 years, 508 student scholarships have been awarded, totalling $551,000 dollars.
Since 2001, 3,372 teachers and staff have received STAR educator awards valued at $65,000 dollars.
In the first two years of a first year teacher gift card program funded by an anonymous retired teacher, 130 teachers entering the profession have received $9,000 to help set up classrooms.
The foundation's 50 Men Who Can Cook event, which started in 2008, has involved 397 chefs who have raised $1.6 million dollars.
CSISD employee giving to the foundation has reached almost a half million dollars since 2011. The first year, 21 percent of employees came a combined $15,820. This year, 50 percent of employees have pledged $127,447 dollars.
A new sponsorship partnering program has raised a combined $417,000 for the foundation the last two years. Benden expects to reach a half million before the end of the current school year.
Foundation assets have grown from $126,000 to $1,419,000 dollars. And the foundation's restricted account has reached $800,000 dollars.
