New Brazos County precinct two commissioner Chuck Konderla visits with WTAW's Bill Oliver.
The appointment, three weeks after the death of Sammy Catalena, means Konderla will serve through the November general election.
In August, precinct chairs of the Brazos County Republican and Democrat parties residing in pct. 2 will decide the nominees for the general election.
The winner of the general election will serve the remaining two years of Catalena's term.
