In this Week's Episode of The Green Line, Art Del Cueto reminds listeners with question to connect via Facebook and send us a message. The Asylum rules has been adjusted and Art explains why this has been a needed move to assist in proper asylum claims. Hector Garza lays out in a recent interview how the border situation can reflect on living legally in the United States and how it affects citizens. Suggestions from some on how to deal with the situation has many surprised at their solutions.

Art takes a trip to McAllen Texas and spends some time with Chris Cabrera, Manny Rocha and Paul Perez. During the trip Art discovers how the wall in the area had reduced the influx of illegal border crossers. While one of the issues Agents deal with is the human trafficking the other is drugs. The guys talk about the importance of Border Security in stemming the tide of these drugs not only along the border cities but also into Middle America. Andy talks about some of the methods used by the smugglers to get the drugs across with Art sharing a story about a large truck modified for transporting cargo AND illegal drugs.

Art tells us about technology which is in use and how this needs to be placed on Tohono O’odham to help in that area against illegal crossings. These are Aerostats, The Blimps, which feature Night Vision, Heat Signature and are very well constructed against attempted damage to them. The guys talk about responsible reporting and the difference between a talk show and journalism. Art is proud of the work he does, he talks about some of the negative that can come to agents from friends and family but knows the work that he and fellow agents are doing, make a positive difference.
