Moody’s Investors Service warned Thursday that it may soon downgrade the U.S. credit rating because of mounting concerns that the government will default. Palin on the August deadline Geithner says is the absolute cutoff for congressional action, she said, “I don’t believe it.” She urged Republican leaders in Congress not to give in to the Obama administration’s demands, saying it would be “a failure of leadership” to yield at this point. "Two-ton" Christie take a helicopter to his son' baseball game,costing the taxpayers of New Jersey $3,500. As U.S. attorney Christie prosecuted former Newark mayor Sharpe James for using municipal credit cards to, among other things, go on foreign trips with girlfriends. If Christie were still a prosecutor, the aide quipped, “he would have indicted himself if he’d done this.”
