What is a Mary Sue? A perfect character. Listen to be ramble on as I talk about this. The Mary Sue is a rampant problem in the writing community that is effecting all forms of media. No character is meant to be perfect, and when you make them perfect, you make them boring. Even 'perfect superheroes' like Superman have flaws.
