A summary of the prophetic word is to trust and rely upon what God's Word says. The nature and character of scripture that it
is profitable for doctrine, reproof, and instruction in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16b) and that the Word of God is perfect and trustworthy (Psa. 119:7, 9). For God's Word to be perfect depends upon the moral perfection of the Author of scripture. The Holy Spirit is divine Truth by which the Spirit does not contradict Himself (Jn. 14:26). The Church has God's written revelationof His Word as oppose to Gnostics in the professing church today who promotes such revelatory knowledge that are contrary to the true knowledge of Christ (Col. 1:9, 10; 2:18, 19).
