Make It A Tradition 30 Day Mental House Cleaning Blueprint for Peace, Clarity, and Happiness

What is a Mental Cleanse #1 Read One Chapter of Uplifting Material for A Day- Did you realize that 87% of the population doesn’t read a single book after they graduate from High School. 50 Shades Of Grey and James Patterson books are great reading material, but they do very little to improve the skills that are going to help you come closer to reach your full potentiality. Instead read some empowering books, such as the ones that can be found on my Recommended Books Page. You can get a new copy of an array of books that range between 5 dollars and 10 dollars!

#2 Turn Off The Television- The statistics are alarming at how much time we devote to the Television, or as Jerry Clark calls it, “The Electronic Income Reducer”. I was once a co-host on a global business radio show speaking about how much damage watching TV does to the average person. Knowing exactly what is going on in the news may be really important to you, but is it really helping you? Most people watch the news before they go to sleep, and is the news empowering or disempowering? Right, Disempowering. Did you realize that all night long while your body is sleeping, your subconscious is working, and it thinks all night long about the last message that it received, disempowerment. Instead of watching the news, remember the information you just read in number one. Their is an old saying “Garbage In, Garbage Out” It is real. If you have shows that you absolutely must watch during your 30 Day Mental House Cleaning, record them on DVR. Watch them 30 days later if you must. 

#3 Turn off the Radio- How much time do you spend in your car a day? How much time is your traveling commute to work a day? How much time do you travel for vacation: plane, train, boat? Most likely you are listening to the Pandora or music downloaded, which is only feeding your mind with more toxins. Instead, listen to personal development CD’s or download some off the internet. If you don’t have any personal development material YouTube is more than enough to get you started, just turn the radio off. Be alone with your thoughts, clear your mind, relax. (If you must use iHeart Radio, Pandora, and Spotify on your 30 Day mental cleanse listen to Jazz and/or Gospel Music)

#4. No Newspapers- This is very similar to the reason why you don’t want to watch TV. Negativity sells.
