This was life changing I was a member of the highway of holiness L.L Collins was my pastor I was looking up some of my favorite preacher's brother Asher used to come to the highway alot one of my favorite we had some great preaching and moves of God the lord called me to preach and I ran like a scared boy I wasn't raised in church but I had a praying holiness granny and I always told my friends when we went over there if you haven't heard about Jesus get ready didn't matter who you were if you came to her house you were going to here about Jesus I was put in a boy's home to make a long story short we were watching Jesus of Nazareth and they started beating Jesus and all the things they did and finally crucified him and I started balling and saying what are they doing that's Jesus I had never knew they did what they did they took us to catholic mass afterward the priest was drinking beer and cursing not big one's but I knew these people didn't have what God called me to do that night when I saw what they did to him that was 1980 I got out met my wife her mother asked what I wanted for Christmas we just started dating I said a Bible a few years passed we got married went to a few churches kept running from my calling finally the lord lead me to the highway of holiness my wife says I'm not going to quit wearing pants and all that garbage after the first service she changed her mind we were home you know what I mean it's a perfect fit for all Christian people but I was very athletic and the world pulled me out of church and everything the lord has gave me messages to preach the whole time I have been praying and seeking the lord and found your site with brother Asher it was exactly what I needed I just wanted to let you know keep doing what you're doing God needs people to plant those seeds he will do the rest I gave my heart to the lord and the running is over I never felt worthy but all have sinned and come short with the lord's help and I receive the holy ghost anointing I can use the rest of my life planting seeds of holiness God bless you and your church maybe someday I might be blessed to be in a service with you fine people loved your preaching pray for me if you can Thomas Hurst
