Host Adam Burke has had to reinvent himself as a baseball handicapper in light of this season’s developments. He’s spent the last few shows putting together a comprehensive profile of how the baseball has changed and the adjustments that need to be made. On this edition of The Bettor’s Box, Adam talked about high-velocity contact and why what has transpired has created a higher-variance environment that benefits bad teams and bad pitchers. He looked at a few teams that have been helped and hurt by this new baseball and about their prognoses going forward.
