Dr. Davin Brown, Vice President for Student Services at Sacra-mento City College, knew that she wanted to be an educator at an early age. She was surrounded by teachers and role models who exposed her to the importance of learning and helping others. She learned those lessons well. She instill the love of learning in her son who is an excellent role model for other young men, especially young men of color. Her road to success hasn’t always been easy, but you’d never know it because she has such a positive attitude. She loves what she does and it shows.
