It’s impossible to go a day without seeing or hearing about tragedies caused by addictive behaviors. Being addicted or having a loved one affected has devastating effects and prevents everyone around you from living your dream life. Is there a way out of this? Often, traditional treatment methods work well in the short term but don’t address the underlying causes of addiction. My guest today, Lee McCormick, shares his enlightened perspective on addiction and productive ways for dealing with it.

Lee McCormick is the founder of the Ranch Recovery Center in Nunnelly, Tennessee, and The Canyon Treatment Center in Malibu, California. He is also cofounder of Nashville’s Integrative Life Center and IOP/PHP Community Recovery program in Nashville, Tennessee.

Through the organization of Spirit Recovery, Inc., McCormick facilitates the production of healing and recovery conferences and spiritual journeys around the world. He is the executive producer of the documentary Dreaming Heaven, in which he plays a leading role and the author of The Spirit Recovery Meditation Journal: Meditations for Reclaiming Your Authenticity and coauthor of Dreaming Heaven: The Beginning is Near! and The Heart Reconnection Guidebook.
