We have all been children at one time or another, many of us have children, some of us are children, and some of us are working daily to connect with our inner child. Children's books can present a lesson and present it in a safe and powerful way. Children's books are not just for children, they can empower the entire family. Kiki the Homesick Koala is the latest book from notable children's author Max Lees. Max wrote the book as a self-expression when he was teaching English in Japan. He was feeling homesick and created the book based on his own adventures and feelings towards his family. Kiki wonders far from home, gains many experiences, meets lots of new people, and learns a lot about herself. Family and connection is very important to Max and he hopes to bring that family embrace to every family who reads this book to their children.
