How do we repair a division? Wouldn't it have to heal the multiple layers first? Personal divisions versus connected divisions. It feels like each day has its own display of reasons to turn and walk away. Are we reliving the part of history torn from the pages of education? All of this feels like we've been here before. As people we like to feel accepted. Not always loved but supported. For the past ten years a huge part of of our requirement has been to be accepted on social media. In this time of division we're actually very united. Look at the massive amounts of people gathering to protest. To allow their voices to be heard. The division within the united moment takes place when violence is introduced. My only question is how many of the protesters actually know why they are protesting? In an age of needing to feel accepted they can't turn a protest into a cool hangout.
