Crashing Cairo has steadily been building a name for
themselves as a memorable live anthemic rock troupe.
Originally known best for organic, melodically catchy songs
performed from Chicago to NYC, Cincinnati and up through
Michigan, they received national attention for their second
compilation, the In the Forest EP, released to college radio
stations throughout the US and Canada.
Crashing Cairo has been featured through sync licences on
The Discovery Channel, HGTV, and multiple other cable
channels. In addition, Crashing Cairo has music played on
well over 20 radio outlets in Europe.
Not only have they fired up a crowd of over 15,000 opening
for the world-famous and legendary rocker, Eddie Money,
Crashing Cairo has opened up The Detroit Grand Prix for A
Great Big World and partnered with The Verve Pipe for many
shows. The band has also found themselves on the bill with
other greats including Tom Walker, Marcy Playground,
Thriving Ivory, The Boxer Rebellion, James Durbin, and more.
Crashing Cairo’s latest release, At Speeds That Destroy, is a
five song EP containing four songs produced by legendary
producer Tim Palmer (U2, David Bowie) and one song by
award-winning producer Peter Katis (The National, Interpol).
The album beautifully showcases their creative songwriting
and dynamic, anthem-based sound, making obvious their
commitment to excellence in musicianship.
Crashing Cairo’s unique, pop-infused, indie rock music
attracts fans of all ages, especially those drawn to unique,
powerful and theatric live performances.
