My connection has always been to the story. In 1985 WEZC in Charlotte NC took a chance on a punk kid from Montana that had a vision to preserve the history of time. It meant leaving my producer Brian Sullivan who took me by the nap of the neck and said "Damn it Collins! The history of music has to be preserved!" EZ 104 in Charlotte NC took a chance on my attitude. I have hundreds of Ten At Ten shows that will make their way to this platform. I will never forget Bill Conway saying "You can't have a show unless you do research." I spent hours in the library and reading books to get what I assumed was radio on the air. Please ignore the suck ass voice and enjoy the journey of a broadcaster that was heavily inspired by some new comer in New York called Howard Stern. I couldn't be what he was doing but damn if I didn't do all I could to share the story of music and all that came with it. Only to realize in 2016 radio didn't give an eff about the real communicators of the industry. I left it knowing I gave it all I had.
