1. This is another very quiet session so far today. All of the major stock indexes are trading basically flat. The volume trends are very light and that could be how we go into next week. 

 Next week is the start of earnings season. JP Morgan (JPM) and a lot of the other leading financial stocks will report earnings starting on April 14th. Next week is also options expiration for the month of April, so next week could see some more action. Every Friday this year has been an up day. Volume is the key indicator. Just follow the SPDR’s.

2. Gold/Silver off today but have recovered from their low. Gold still at 1746. Miners was down but are now flat. A little consolidation is due for gold. Silver has been following gold and silver miners are doing very well.
