The English language doesn't do God's love justice. In fact, there are varying types of "Love" in the bible, with the Greek root words of Eros (erotic love), Philia (affectionate love, friendship), Storge (familial love), and Agape (selfless love, God's love for us).
If the Bible says God "is love" and the most important commandment is love God with our whole minds, our whole hearts and our entire soul - and the second commandment is love your neighbor as yourself - then love is pretty frickin' important, right?
Often, it's something we take for granted, or simply assume people we love know we love them, and that enough. But it isn't. Love is an action, a demonstration - a commitment.
We get into the nitty gritty of what love really is, during this delightful month of Hallmark, consumerism Valentine's Day!
