Okay, it's an odd title and maybe some people like clowns. I don't know why you like clowns but maybe you do. But in all seriousness the "circus" involves the partisan politics and believing that when both parties do the exact same thing one of them is acting honorably because they are "your party". Remember, William Barr was a political appointee of Donald Trump. His SECOND Attorney General after he requested his first Attorney General resign for essentially not being loyal enough to him. There are still many unanswered questions regarding Trump and Russia and now probably always will be. But the way it works in government as a rule is that those in the highest positions of power and influence get away with murder, figuratively and hopefully only figuratively. So what this was was business as usual in the DC swamp. And too many people would rather play politics than acknowledge that.
