I ran my AT Pro in standard for the fist six months and couldn't believe what I was missing when I switched to pro mode.

Sorry, the kids are fighting. The AT Max is a much deeper machine and runs at 13Khz and the AT Pro runs at 15Khz. The AT Max is more similar to the tones on the AT Gold and it talks a lot--which I like because I can hear all the targets but some people find it frustrating. Especially if they are switching from running AT Pro in standard mode and used to bell tones.

I've only used my 400 and my ATP and I've never got tired of swinging but I'm in construction so that might be a factor
