Listening to this again gave me the answer to a question I asked myself December last year on "What is the will of God concerning influence" I just got the answer now listening to this teaching from the book of Isaiah 58. It is is an excerpt from the scripture to every believer to learn how to exercise the influence God has given to them. Now when I hear it's time to fast, I have a better direction on being specific and focused in my fasting. Thank God he has given us so much opportunities to fast meaning more opportunities to influence and be relevant. How sweet. Glory be to God!

I've never gotten this kind of understanding of fast which is actually to fire us up to acquire power in order to extend love to our neighbors. Also coming to know the fact that our neighbors are not necessarily the people that live next door but people we come in contact with in our lives daily. Whaoooo, this makes more sense and purposeful. We live for others! The world will be far a better place if every believer do this, honestly.
