Nick Vizzoca was appointed president of Healthcare Council of Western Pennsylvania in November 2021. Prior to joining Healthcare Council, he was President & CEO of Vincentian Collaborative System. His more than 20-year career in healthcare includes holding the position of Executive Director/VP Operations for the Department of Critical Care Medicine at UPMC, as well as several operational positions. Nick also held positions at Highmark and UPMC Health Plans.

Nick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Point Park University.

Nick authored the book “When Leadershi* Hits The Fan: How Global Concepts Can Influence Hard Choices And Inspire Greatness,” in 2021.
