Please join the for the 2nd Annual Angel Walk on Saturday May 4th 2019.
The walk is being established in honor of Shalonda and Steven Horton who lost their battle with addiction, and to honor and remember all of our loved ones that we have lost to addiction. We want this to not only be a family event, but a community event!
YOU MUST REGISTER ON THE SITE LISTED BELOW TO WALK IN THE EVENT!
We invite all families, friends, co-workers..etc and the community to participate. We need to break the stigma of addiction through education and awareness. We cant think of a better way to honor our loved ones legacy!
Date: Saturday May 4th, 2019
Time: Registration and check in
9am. Walk begins at 10:15- 10:30
Location: Willys Park
1375 Hillcrest
Cost: $10 per walker( the cost of the shirt). + $2 registration fee

We will be placing memorial markers of our loved ones all along the course. If you would like your loved ones picture on one, please email the photo you want used to jennylvineyard@gmail.com
Please register early so we can get your shirts back to you if you want to put your team name or loved one photo on it.
UPDATE: If you are walking as part of a team, please indicate team name after your last name. Example: Team Horton
That way we can keep team shirts together.
Even though this is a memorial walk, we want to include everyone that has been affected by addiction. So if you have a loved one in recovery, we want to celebrate them too! If you have a loved one who is actively using, we welcome you to come as well and be informed and supported. We will have a vendor area set up with people from the healthcare field, mental health, and addiction and recovery community. We will also have the 2nd chance food truck there with awesome food!!
We will have several speakers, a short ceremony and a balloon release before the walk begins. Blair Caldwell from WTOL and Fox 36 will be our Emcee for the event.
