Jeremy Kappell was fired earlier in the year for mispronouncing Martin Luther King Jr.’s name during a live report in Rochester, New York. Others have done it in the past and not been removed from their job, but Lovely Warren, the Mayor of Rochester, pushed for and ultimately got Jeremy fired from the TV station he worked for.
